Naturally, the major award winners feature heavily on the top All-Star team. Hellebuyck took home the Hart Trophy and Vezina Trophy, while Nikita Kucherov won the Ted Lindsay Award and Art Ross Trophy.

Kucherov leads all active players with his fourth career berth on the first team, and Hellebuyck's third time on the team is the most among active goalies.

It's Makar's third appearance on the first team, and MacKinnon's second in a row. Connor and Werenski make their debuts on the top postseason All-Star team.

Draisaitl finished ahead of MacKinnon in Hart Trophy voting but lands on the second All-Star team.

Hagel's breakout 35-goal, 90-point campaign sees him recognized on an All-Star team for the first time. Pastrnak, Hedman, Hughes, and Vasilevskiy have multiple postseason All-Star nods in their career, though it's the first time Vasilevskiy has made the second All-Star team.

Calder Trophy winner Hutson leads the way in a strong group of rookies. Celebrini led all rookies in points per game with 63 in 70 games, and Michkov paced all first-year players with 26 goals.

Wolf was by far the top rookie netminder this season and helped the Flames stay in playoff contention down the stretch. He finished the year with a 29-16-8 record, racking up 14 more wins and 24 more starts than the next closest rookie goalie.
