While there is a belief he'll play this season, there are questions about his status, Rapoport adds. The Rams added depth to their offensive tackle room by g veteran D.J. Humphries on Thursday.
Jackson dealt with blood clots during the 2022 campaign that ultimately landed him on season-ending injured reserve after eight games. He signed a three-year, $57-million extension this offseason that locks him up through the 2027 campaign.
The 26-year-old has been the Rams' primary starting left tackle over the last two campaigns. He allowed three sacks and 25 pressures in 583 -blocking snaps in 2024, according to PFF.
